Welcome to KCKCC Foundation

The Kansas City Kansas Community College Foundation supports the overall mission of KCKCC to inspire individuals and enrich our community one student at a time, and its strategic goals and initiatives.

Established in 1977, the KCKCC Foundation is the fundraising arm of the College. As a separate 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, our purpose is to grow philanthropic support among alumni, individuals, businesses, corporations and foundations and administer the Foundation Scholarship and Alumni Association programs. The Foundation helps build support for our students and other College initiatives not otherwise covered by tuition and tax revenues.

What We Do

Our primary areas of focus include:

  • Establishing, funding and administering student scholarships through a well-established Foundation Scholarship program
  • Promoting mutual benefit, connection and professional networking through a growing Alumni Association
  • Initiating a Major Gift program for support of special programs and capital projects that identifies and connects donor passions to College priorities
  • Developing community leadership through volunteer opportunities for board and advisory roles

The Sunderland Foundation Supports the KCK Community Education, Health and Wellness Center

Kansas City Kansas Community College’s Downtown Community Education Center is one step closer to becoming a reality after the Sunderland Foundation awarded the college and its partners $10 million toward its construction.
