Venue & Facility Rental

The community can use space at Kansas City Kansas Community College for events, meetings, and other activities. Because we are partially funded through local taxes, KCKCC offers reduced rates to Wyandotte County organizations and individuals for classrooms, general meetings, athletics, and the Performing Arts Center rental spaces.

The college has first priority for event space and may require an event to change location if there is a direct conflict. Space may generally only be reserved one (1) year before the event date. Requests for space are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis by completing the usage request form.

KCKCC has a wide variety of meeting spaces available for the community. The college hours are approximately 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.. KCKCC may require facility staff, College Police or other staff as a condition of use.

  • A damage deposit is required, which is half of the hourly rate.

Set-up diagrams for events or meetings must be submitted 15 days before the event. Diagrams and other event details may be submitted via email at kckccevents@aurora-ro.com.

  • During the event day, staff can be available to ensure you have the agreed-upon services that were requested.

Cancellation Policy

Notification of space cancellation by the requestor must be communicated to the Events and Scheduling office via email at KCKCCevents@aurora-ro.com or by phone at 913-288-7332. Event cancellation notifications are required 30 days before an event to receive 100% of the fees paid. If cancellation is within 29 days, 33 1/3% of the usage fee will be retained by the College. If cancellation notices are less than 15 days, 50% of the fee will be retained. For any cancellation of less than 10 days, KCKCC will retain the full fee.
