The Basic Needs Center helps expand and enhance equitable access to basic needs services and resources college wide, to support student persistence, to aid retention and success with a focus on historically marginalized populations across the college.
The KCKCC Basic Needs Center provides limited emergency financial assistance. Students are eligible for assistance once per academic year.
The following criteria must be met:
- Completion of one KCKCC semester with a minimum of 6 credit hours and a minimum GPA of 2.0.
- No disciplinary violations.
- Must be currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
- Must have a current degree or certificate plan.
